Get Involved

MSVPAC helps physicians understand the legislative process and other political issues that impact the medical community and provides information about candidates’ voting records or positions on medical issues.

The MSVPAC Board of Directors uses this information to allocate funds to candidates strategically and in the best interest of the profession.

MSVPAC can also help physicians who wish to work in their communities to generate support for General Assembly and statewide candidates.

Staff will work with physicians to coordinate fundraising events and suggest other ways for them to get involved in the political process.

And MSVPAC connects physicians and their spouses who are interested in running for political office or who want to get more involved in the political arena to training programs that teach them to be strong advocates for medicine.
